PVA was founded in 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Today, it has 34 (thirty-four) Chapters across the country providing service to veterans and advocating for the physically challenged. WPVA gained admission in PVA on November 19, 1980, and received its Chapter Charter November 1, 1981. We neither seek nor receive funding from any government entity. 95% of the donations made on this site by credit card go toward our Veteran service programs.
