This New Year brings new job opportunities for veterans interested in careers in health care, technology and consulting. In fact, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts that these industries will have the largest employment, salary and wage growth into 2016.
And despite the reported employment decline in the goods-producing sector - total employment is expected to decrease from 14.9 percent to 13.1 percent - the construction industry is also expected to have employment growth.
What's more, U.S. News & World Report reports that blue - collar careers - construction, security system technician, biomedical equipment technicians, electricians - are the best jobs for in today's changing employment landscape.
If you're ready to take on a new job opportunity in any of these growing fields take a look at the 25 fastest growing occupations that are great for former service members, according to the BLS.
