Accessible Transportation to the Primary
Please pass it along to anyone that can help "get the word out" that there
will be free Para-transit trips to the polling sites in Milwaukee County on
Tuesday, February 19. I think we would all agree it's vital that people
with disabilities take an active role in making their priorities known in
this coming primary election. To help in this effort, I was pleased to
learn that the Milwaukee County Office of Persons With Disabilities has
committed $3,250 to underwrite up to 1,000 Para-transit rides to Milwaukee
County polling sites. If you have questions, the phone number for the
