Our volunteers are the kindest and most thoughtful people on the face of the earth. They believe in us and in our mission, and they are the very life blood of our organization. We have individuals donating their time and talent at the Zablocki Medical Center, in our chapter office, and in the community. We keep our volunteers apprised of chapter activities and functions, and all volunteers are invited to our annual banquet held in late September of every year. At the annual banquet we present the Patricia A. Patty Wiseman Volunteer of the Year Award.
Chapter Needs/Requirements
We are always looking for people who like to help people. Anyone interested in becoming involved with WPVA is encouraged to contact the Chapter Office at 414-328-8910 or 1-800-875-9782 where we can discuss your situation, talk about certain benefits you may be eligible for, explain the requirements of PVA, and answer any other questions you may have.
Clement J. Zablocki VAMC
If you volunteer at the VA Hospital, you must register in the Volunteer Services Office. Please contact either Denise Jashinsky or Mary Jo Jankovich at 414-384-2000, ext. #41803, and these ladies will explain the steps necessary to register at the Zablocki Medical Center. It is a quick and simple procedure, and you will be helping our veterans in no time.
